At Play More Football Academy (PMF), we are committed to driving football development across Africa, particularly in underserved communities. Using the PMF Concept, we implement grassroots initiatives that provide children aged 5–16 the opportunity to discover, develop, and refine their football skills in a safe and structured environment.
Through structured coaching, regular tournaments, and educational workshops, our mission is to create a lasting social impact by providing life-changing opportunities through football. PMF is not just a training ground, it’s a platform for youth empowerment, personal development, and a proactive alternative to life on the streets.

Lawrence Okonji – Founder & Visionary
Lawrence Okonji is a dynamic sports entrepreneur, UEFA-certified coach, and passionate advocate for youth football development.
As the founder of Play More Football (PMF) and CEO of OKLAPROD GmbH Switzerland, Lawrence has dedicated his life to empowering young footballers, particularly in underserved communities across Africa.
With over a decade of experience in football coaching, talent development, and global sports event management, Lawrence brings unmatched expertise to PMF.
He has built his coaching career at clubs such as FC Glattbrugg and Zurich City Sports Club, and is currently the Co-Trainer at FC Regensdorf U19, and has successfully organized top-tier football events, including the Real Madrid Kids Camp in Glattbrugg and Street Soccer Glattbrugg—programs that bring elite-level football exposure to young players.
Lawrence is also a sports consultant and tournament coordinator for 1TURNIER Switzerland, where he oversees high-level football competitions that emphasize technical excellence and teamwork. His innovative leadership style and deep understanding of grassroots development have allowed him to successfully bridge the gap between raw talent and global opportunity.
Beyond the field, Lawrence is the founder of 9JA Energy Drink, a sports lifestyle brand created to fuel African and European athletes. This initiative reflects his belief in holistic support for youth development—providing both energy for the body and inspiration for the mind.
